Dorney Park 2013

I've heard about those machines...just saw a flyer from Five Guys Burgers and Fries that they just put one in at the Tilgmahn St location. Have to go check it out. But unless it's got Crystal Pepsi, I don't really care.

And Pepsi goes back at least until 1989...the Pepsi clock by the Ferris Wheel (which recently was taken out BTW) went in along with the Skyscraper as it was in 89'. Oh and the wheel was sponsered by Pepsi and had the Pepsi logo on at least one of the hubs. Is that logo still there as of this year? I also noticed the Pepsi globe is gone from the top of coasters.

$60 is the renewal price, for a new passholder it is $63 each if you buy 4 passes. You also get 1 free season parking pass that they will put on one pass. You also get the water park for free and admission for the rest of 2012 when you buy a 2013 pass but they have to be bought and processed this season to get those deals. Fright Fest is not extra to get in but the trails/mazes all cost extra.

If you don't like Fast Lane at Dorney, Flashpass use at Great Adventure is used by more people and the water park isn't open during the week in June and isn't run as well as WWK. Also Fright Fest is way more crowded than Haunt even though Haunt is a much better event.

Does Dorney offer anything like that where if you buy a 2013 pass you get the rest of 2012 free?

Unfortunately no, a few years ago they had a deal if you bought a pass for next year you got 1 free admission for the current season but they stopped offering that.

I have a friend who works for Coke and he said that the whole CF chain is now a Coke facility. So that's what's new for 2013 ha ha!!!!!

Has anyone else noticed the wooden roller coaster shown as the background for the 2013 season pass? It doesn't look like Thunderhawk so maybe it could be something new that's coming either 2013 or 2014. I sure hope it is!

So the Coke plan is cool, I can't say I am unhappy about this (sorry Pepsifan).

This past weekend I checked out the "cement crop circle" behind Stinger and I did wonder if something could/would be placed there. BUT... if they did put something there, who would know? Nobody goes back there for anything anymore aside from Haunt. Heck, even during Haunt nobody was back there. At least not when I was there...

On my visit the asylum was packed. Stinger wasn't, but asylum was. So the area is at least being seen. =/

I really don't want to see one of these at Dorney, if they are insistent on getting this type of ride at the park I'd rather see a StarFlyer like at the Six Flags parks. They sound more reliable.

Well, we know the Windseekers won't be added to more parks. As long as there are so many technical glitches, they're not going to waste the money on any more rides that don't work (Stinger, Voodoo--I refuse to call it Possessed). Plus, now they are looking into the problem and I believe have suspended Windseeker operations at this time.

I would love to see Wildcat (CP's you mean?) come to Dp. But from my understanding the ride was ripped apart and scraped when CP removed it.

Have we all resigned ourselves to the fact that there will be nothing new next year, or are we still clinging to the hope that there will be some sort of surprise announcement?
