Those views are awesome. Especially since it was when the park was closed & you can see them setting up for Haunt. And a plus for me, I think I found myself in the view!

The view at 45* looks really neat. The clarity and definition of the coasters is so much better at that angle.

So far as I can find, Dorney Park is the only cedar fair park with the 45 degree photos published.

The careful observer will note that in the one view, the top of steel force's lift hill is cut off in the one view.

Also, does anyone know why there are what looks like pieces of old water slides in the maintenance/junk area beside the employee parking area? (Turn the view to look from the North)

That's awsome...just looked at the shots of the boneyard you mentioned. I never knew you could roate the view. I looked at this a few months ago but I wasn't able to see in as close as I just did.

Cool stuff...I see the slide parts you mentioned, they were the parts of the body slide from Torpedo Tubes, they removed it because it was too intense and left the 2 tube slides. I don't know if they still do, but they use to use them for the sea monster display at Halloween.

Also note the Tot Spot rides and Balloon Race.

Also the Valleyfair log flume boats...hey I remember seeing upclose pics of those on the net. Has the park ever allowed the public to tour that area???

And anyone have any clue what the red and yellow parts are laying across from the Little Laser tracks?

Anyone pick out anything else intresting?

And speaking of the boneyard and rides in storage. Does anyone know wether or not the park was really storing a skycoaster for a while that was to be added, but they got Skyscraper instead.

Also I heard they had bought a Chaos to replace the Paratrooper but that never went in because the problems started happening on them around that time.

Does anyone know what this is?

It is located behind Hydra on land owned by the park. I have been trying to figure out what it is for months now, and have only succeeded in frustrating myself. If anyone knows what it is, I will be very greatfull.

Based on the lattice like structure I'm thinking it might be a greenhouse or sorts. Given all the landscaping that takes place every morning (miss the smell and hustle and bustle of 8 am before the park opens to the public) they definitely do some of the growing in house.

I guess you could grow plants in it. It's the sewage treatment / storage plant. :)

Yes....as someone who sells products to these types of facilities I can confirm it's for waste water treatment.
