SF isn't going anywhere...not sure where this discussion came from lol. I've always said though, how it would be cool to see it get a new color scheme to liven things up.

As for the Screamscape rumors, I really hope a GCI is on the way for 2015 and for 2014 a waterpark expansion and hopefully a classic flat ride would be great. Since CF has been adding the Flyers to a few parks lately, I would bet on that if anything which would be really cool. But what would be even better would be new Rocket Ships, but I think DCA is still the only park that has put in a modern version to date.

Screamscape's update today mentions Knott's Windseeker is likely to be removed and placed in another CF park. Thankfully it sounds like it is going to Worlds of Fun but with Dorney getting so many used rides, I'm half expecting to see a Windseeker announced for Dorney this month.

It probably would have come to dorney if it weren't too tall for the height restrictions lol.

Is the strict South Whitehall code ever going to change, or are we going to eventually be the only park in the chain without a Windseeker?

I'm pretty sure they're not building anymore Windseekers at any of the CF parks. I'd bet that circle by Stinger was for one and they've abandoned plans on buying anymore of them after all the problems. Dorney's would have just been a 200' version.

I think Windseeker was DP 2013 attraction, until all of the issues, IMO.

Does anyone here know when they plan to announce the 2014 additions? I figure it should be sometime soon cause WWK closes in three weeks, and the least they could do is promote their new slides to the WWK crowd for those few weeks left.

Took one last trip on the speed slides today. Asked two lifeguards about its future and they said, "we hear its leaving every summer" and "yeah...good riddance."

Also, Waterworks is still a blast but in a state of total neglect. I have to believe these newer water fortresses are better from an insurance standpoint because parts of Waterworks look like they could really hurt someone if they fell.

A sight for sore eyes, the park posted an announcement on their home page for a announcement on Wednesday (August 28th) for a new "Addition." I will say it for many of you, I hope it will be the two year wait. I wonder if that eye means anything....

I can't wait to see what it is. I know a new water play area was mentioned earlier in the thread but that doesn't fit with the eye on Dorney's Facebook page.

I wonder if the whole "eye" thing has something to do with the gimmicky water slide I heard about.

http://insanitylurksinside.blogspot.com/2013/08/breaking-news-dorney-parks-wildwater.htmlThis is a picture of their possible expansion plans that I saw online. It would make sense back by Thunder Canyon considering we have seen some sort of activity back there. Also the eye could make sense if they are getting a coaster slide. The kind where the water shoots you through the entire slide (can't remember what they are called).

There is more room than I realized. For the 2nd section outlined, it seems like a lot of the time that section of the lot reserved for buses isn't even close to being full (I am guessing on weekends there are many more buses than a weekday though) so it wouldn't be too bad. Hopefully whatever that add is high capacity since I'm sure anything added will be popular. Even with Aqua Racer one of the more high capacity slides, it always seems to have one of the longer lines in WWK.
