While other topics discuss the same thing, Ill throw my opinion in here.

I can see no major additions made to Dorney, and maybe WWK getting a new slide complex on the smaller side.

I could also see Apollo leaving us soon, it hardly ever has a line and on several visits there its been closed this season with everything else open. Which would be a sad ride to lose even though i no longer ride it. But it could be a nice padsite for a new flat.. what kind would fit there I have no idea.

This is from what I heard (although most likely is not completely 100% accurate, but pretty spot on). Speed Slides will be gone after this season, as will Island Water Works. A new, larger version of Water Works will fill the Speed Slides site, and the island that houses Water Works now (which is surrounded by Wildwater River) will be all rented cabanas like the ones that are currently on the side of Wildwater Cove.

Jumpin Jack Splash will also leave us after this year, and a new slide complex will take the place of it (this is just my two cents, but i can see the Aqua Launch slide complex that WOF got this year coming our way next year). Lily Pads and Oasis will be gone and a large swimming pool with basketball hoops and other activities will take its place.

Like I said, I'm not sure how completely accurate of what I heard, but the general idea is that WWK will finally see the additions it has been waiting for. With nothing major being added to Dorney next year, we could see hopefully a major thrill ride in 2015 (knock on wood). This is makes sense if WWK receives two new attractions this year, since we didn't receive really anything in 2013.

First part is pretty spot on. Second half is off....they're looking at more gimmicky slide from what I heard two weeks back.

Over at Dorney a "small classic flat ride" is being looked at. Flying Scooters make since given their introduction at Michigan Adventure.

We'll see......

I honestly do not see much of anything happening in the foreseeable future.

I hope Jumpin Jack Splash doesn't leave, I like how they have a higher exit compared to Wildwater Rapids so you don't go under water as easily.

I won't miss the Speed Slides that much.

A flying scooters would be nice. I wonder where they would put it without sacrificing another flat ride. Dorney already has a nice collection of flats, one more would only add to the total.

I do not know how big flying scooters is or even know what it is, but the area next to thunderhawk and scrambler is a good place for a flat ride. For a few years now they have been using that place for a Haunt attraction which I liked, but I would rather see a ride there.

The area where Joker used to be (under Hydra's cobra roll) is also prime for a flat ride.

Flyers would be perfect for any of those spots! I know for certain that IRM Rides has a classic set of Bisch Rocco Flyers available (like those at Knoebels). I can only dream I guess.

God, I miss the Joker.

Yea, thats definitely a good spot, maybe for a flat like a Disko or something that doesnt go real high.

I find it strange that, its a dead spot of pathway, being so inconvenient and leading to nowhere, that they removed the smoking spot from that corner? Its just weird to me.

True....it was a good location for a smoking spot. If it's not going to house a ride (and I do like the flyer idea, makes sense), I don't completely understand why it's apparently not being used for that.

Right? Its just a pathway that leads to nothing. Its a complete waste of space.

Im also just bitter that the Joker is gone to this day. I really enjoyed that type of flat.

Apparently 2014 additions are all set...everything we discussed prior is a go. Look for marketing to go up in WWK in late july/early august so the crowds get a peep at the new additions.
