Wondering what the October pricing will be this year for the passes. If they surpass $100, that's it, I'm done with Dorney, and hello Hershey.. A bit further drive, but at least I don't have to hide my fruit and small bags of snacks when walking through the gate. (Oh, not to mention they actually keep improving things year to year).

I'm guessing $100 if you buy the pass in the fall, and then price increases after that. $120 would probably be the most I am willing to pay especially since I'm not planning to go to Dorney much in the spring and fall when WWK isn't open.

Wasn't it like $85 a couple of years ago...I think the increase paid for the recent park additions...something had to cover the $5M spent on Demon Droppings....or whatever Stinker Cost...or those dinasoaurs they brought in from their 'mall' tour.

Dude,
Do yourself a favor...take a ride up to Knoebles. You can bring your own food and eat it in the park. Plus their food is reasonable and tastey.

Hershey has outpriced itself for me...but like you said, at least they add NEW stuff- not recycled.

I'd like to get to GA too. I bet one could do Knoebles, GA and HP for less than a season pass at DP....if you find some discounts...

We go to Knoebels often. Problem is, Dorney is just too convenient. We live maybe 10 minutes away in Whitehall and my wife uses WWK like the local pool. Season pass cost wise it's still a deal, but the frustrations you have to put up with are getting out if hand. i.e. the food nazi's at the gate, the silly rules and of course the element of people that seems to get worse every year.

If if Knoebels or Hershey were closer we would never give Dorney another dime.

Knoebels IS great, however with only TWO main coasters it can be boring if you're not a big flat ride fan. Also, I still feel they do need to add a steel inverting coaster at some point.

Hershey... I feel hershey expands without thinking. I think the boardwalk being tossed right in the middle of the ride section was a horrible idea and i think it looks horrible. Its great to be successful and expand almost every year, but to expand for the sake of expansion is bad. And I feel thats what hershey does. Just my thoughts..

Oh, Im definitely getting a 2014 season pass to dorney. Dispite how I feel about how the park is being treated with additions and such, I still have so much fun there, and its so worth it. Things will get better and we'll see quality additions added eventually i hope. The only coasters I do not ride are the Wild Mouse, and Stinger. The only other ride I wont go on, but have once before,... is Demon Drop.

Ouch. Just verified this on line. I'm going to seriously have to think about this before dropping over $400 for a family of 4 this year. That is STEEP for Dorney. I mean seriously. This is not Hershey, or Six Flags. This is Dorney Park. Not much more to offer than Knoebels, and FAR less family friendly anymore. Really, this price is unreal to me and I've been a pass holder for nearly 10 years. Why do they not offer current pass holders some type of renewal rate at least?

I also just noticed that GA is offering a $76 dollar season pass that is automatically upgraded to a gold pass, water park and parking included, if buying 4 or more passes. I might just have my answer to my Dorney problem there....
