Correct, Whitewater Landing did open in 1993. Whitewater Landing was the Tallest, Longest, and Fastest water ride in the Northeast built in that year.

What was the name of the water attraction parallel to Hercules from '88-'92?

Well, I guess since nobody answered, no one knows the answer. The water attraction located parallel to Hercules from '88-'92 were the tank tag boats. The tank tag boats were a pay attraction where you would either be steering the tank in the water or you would be a shooter. The shooters stayed on land and had guns to fire and try to hit the boats. I'm not really sure on specifics as I never rode it. If anyone else has additional info on this attraction please elaborate.

That sounds like the same thing at the front of the Wild Wheels pier in Wildwood (the pier with the Great White).

tank tag boats

I never rode the tank tag boats but we did shoot at them a few times. They were a lot of fun. They are now at Knoebels near the entry road and the bumper boats.

And I bet they also sold Knoebels the good BUMPER CARS (Lusse Auto Scooters)

I could be wrong, but I think Knoebels had their lusse's prior to Dorney disassembling theirs. Also, I think Dorney's old Lusse's are in storage.

Knoebels has had their bumper cars forever, they are one of the orignal things in the park if I'm not mistaken. Dorney needs a good set of bumper cars, that would be a great addition for 04.

I've ridden in the tanks boats. They're actually preety cool. If u sit in the bottom, u have to steer and shoot balls at the same. If ur on top, u get a nice little chair and just shoot around. U can talk to ur buddy up or down via a pipe that goes into both areas.

Well close, but really its over 1 Million gallons of water. For the wave pool in Wildwater Kingdom, it has half a million gallons of water.
