Yesterday, I received a newsletter from Dorney Park. It's for the employees who worked for the Park Operations department.

In 2004, Dorney Park will be installing a ride that is some like "The Claw" from Hershey Park. The ride will swing riders back and forth, while the ride wheel will spin riders in the air.

The new ride will be placed by the back of the turn of the Road Rally Attraction and between the bridge towards tot-spot. (Near the Steel Force Plaza.)

That is a great addition to the park and especially considering its location. The lower section of the park is in dire need of some good thrill rides, aside from Skyscraper, the scariest ride on the face of this earth. I would love to see the addition of a nice sit-down restaurant and some entertainment venue in that area over the next few years as well. This will tide me over and its nice to see park management continually investing rather than sitting on the money considering next years expenditure.

This is great, another thrill ride for DP. I also agree, that area of the park is in need of some changes. I think it would be best to also have a second entrance down there, cause if you think about it, it would be a long way to walk from the newly acquired land that they intend to use for parking to the current entrance. I hope DP's next coaster (after the floorless) goes in that area as well.

This link should help people get a better idea as to what we are in store for next season....

I wonder if there are any other general improvements/additions coming next year? Hey, there is nothing wrong with wishful thinking!

This link shows where I'm assuming this ride is going (in the area in front of the fence).

*yawns
Hershey already has a Claw. We need something someone nearby doesn't have in order to draw more of a crowd. Nonetheless, I"M STILL EXCITED!

Just a quick question. Do any of you DP employees know if it will be a Chance Revolution 24 or 32? If I remember correctly, they come in those two models.
