I'm going to keep this short

I got to the park right at opening, hardly anyone was there. Shockingly for July it was only 67 out but I still decided to go to the WWK for a little while. From WWK I saw Talon was just waiting for riders for at least 5 minutes. Wildwater Kingdom was empty and appeared to be empty even an hour after opening. Even Aquablast had no line. The only time there was ever a wait was if you ended up in line right after a camp group since they seemed to travel in groups of 8 - 10. I also noticed at Riptide Run, they now have lifeguards at each splash pool to help keep the tubes moving and from people getting stuck.

Over on the ride side, Talon, Hydra and Thunderhawk had 2 train waits because of a lot of camp groups. Possessed was a walk on as was Steel Force (and at one point had as few as 10 riders on a train). Lots of floater air time in the first car today. Road Rally and Wild Mouse were the only 2 rides to have lines. Road Rally looked close to a half hour with only 4 cars running. Wild Mouse looked around 25 - 30 minutes. Revolution was closed.

There couldn't have been more than 500 cars in the lot but there were about 20 busses.

It was a good trip and I got a lot of rides in 2 1/2 hours
WWK, 7 slides
Talon, 2
Hydra, 1
Domiator, 1
Thunderhawk, 1
Possessed, 1
Steel Force, 2

Even the weekends have been bad? I thought it was always the weekdays that were slow and the summer weekends were the time the park made up for it with the lot and overflow lot being full.

I guess the weather hasn't helped either, it rained so much in June that I found it difficult to try to get to the park and the wrong forecasts have hurt too. I'm sure more people would have showed up if they hadn't called for thunderstorms from 1:00 - closing.

No attendance is horrible across the board even for the 4th of July the number weren't that great, less then 30,000 in the park. It hasn't been a good season.

Based upon what the park was budgeted for yesterday we did exceptionally well. Like, really well.
However, it is the exception to this season. In fact, even today attendance was absolutely horrid.
