I only had around an hour and 20 minutes at the park today since I happened to be close to the park today and just went to the park to get some coaster rides in.

I got to the park around 3:45 and the lot wasn't that crowded, more crowded than last year on Mother's Day. First ride was Talon, walk on and I got 2 rides. It was great to ride Talon again after 6 months of the park being closed.

Wild Mouse had around a 20 minute line so I went to Hydra next which was another walk on. Planet Snoopy looked great and appeared to be where most of the people in the park where with crowded walkways.

The Space Shot side of Dominator was closed so the Turbo Drop side had at least a 15 minute wait and I decided to go to Demon Drop instead which had no wait.

I saw Zephyr and Monster were closed and went to Thunderhawk. 1 train running with a 1 train wait.

Steel Force had the longest wait of the day with a 2 train wait. I rode twice and went to Voodoo to finish the trip.

I also noticed that they raised the price of a fountain soda to $3.99 and the ring around the bottle game no longer has the season pass special. I didn't notice any games with a season pass discount but I wasn't looking that closely.

It was a good way to start off the season with the first of many Dorney visits.

I did not notice this but I did not look at the ring toss yet this year. It must be because I won last year that they quit the special. Haha, at least I got them

Since that trip, they added another season pass special this year. Buy the hat of rings for $7 and get a free refill of rings.

I preferred the handful of rings for $1, that was enough since you usually got at least 20 rings and I'd stop and try it a few times a season. Now at $7 even with a free refill of rings, I am not going to bother.

Congratulations on winning, it's almost impossible. I won once at Sea World Orlando in the early 90's and have not won since then.

Wasn't our "hat" special $5 when the general publics was $7? I guess the refill is the perk now? The hats are no good anymore. 2-3 years ago I got 2 decent cowboy hats which were not cheap made in china garbage like the dumb beer mug hats and such that they have now.

Thanks! I never thought I would win because I went through my whole life so far losing and losing. In fact, I thought it was impossible until I did it. What was just as strange as winning was the prize that I was able to get. They had a huge Mickey Mouse (apparrantly the only one in the park) hanging in the booth and I got that instead of one of the more generic huge prizes. Mickey in DP??? Hmmm...

1) Ring toss deal is not bad if you have a couple of kids...we just use to do it maybe twice per kid as we walked by...if we do it this year we will have 4 kids and do it once.

2) $4 for a soda...just ask for a free ice water!!!

what other perks are out there for passholders...?

Some food deals, I think a large pizza and 4 sodas for $24.99, probably some others. A couple of other games have deals, I forget which ones besides the ring toss.

It amazes me how many people are paying that $4 for a soda, if I wanted a soda that badly, I'd wait until I left the park and pay $1 outside the park.
