This summer

This summer I might go to Playland in Rye, NY which HAS an old mill from 1920's and was just renovated in 2000-2001 and will not be removed any time soon since it's protected as a Historic Landmark. They're prohibited from tearing it down by law! Plus two other dark rides and a mirror maze. New inverted compact coaster for 2004. A space shot like Dominator. (I won't ride those) Antique carousel and derby racer like Cedar Point. A Whip, just like DP. Old type bumper cars. It's a really great park. Dragon wooden coaster from 1929. Art Deco architecture. Ok, so it doesn't have a hypercoaster or water park. And no POP so you must buy ticket books.

Playland is awesome, I go there every year. Yep good old tickets tooo  The Dragon Coaster is a very good coaster, one of my favorites, even though it is a Zamperla flyer, I still look foward to riding it. From pictures of other Volares, it looks pretty decent.

yeah i agree, although i haven't been on Dragon Coaster, it still looks like a good woodie. And i honestly don't think that Volare Flyer is looking too bad, it just might be enjoyable! :D
